Long Story Short: Enter The Story is a 12-week series covering the entirety of the Bible. What an irresponsible use of entirety! Really, it's an overview of the holy scriptures. The hope is to catch the thread of the story being told: the coming and the presence of the Kingdom of Heaven. As a guide, we are using the imperative -enter the story- Find weekly readings and more here. INVOCATION: May I never grow tired of starting over or helping others do the same. My hope is always in renewal and resurrection.   BENEDICTION: Artist of souls,  you sculpted a people for yourself out of the rocks and fasting. Help us that we take up your  invitation to prayer and simplicity,  that the discipline of these forty days may sharpen our hunger for the feast of your holy friendship, and whet our thirst for the living water you offer through Jesus Christ.  Amen.
