After all the heat and rain delays at Fort Gordon Disc Golf Course on the final day of the 2017 World Championships, Ricky Wysocki had captured his second straight world title in dominant fashion. Earlier in the day, Paige Pierce further solidified her place as the top women's player in the game with her fourth world title overall. It was also another stellar event for the disc golf community as the International Disc Golf Center and Fort Gordon proved to be excellent hosts for the sport's marquee event.
