They are in solid shape at this point in the season, and have handled adversity in amazing ways. The Washington Redskins were the latest in this midnight green highway when they came to Lincoln Financial Field and lost. After a rough first quarter, where the Eagles were cited with multiple penalties, negative yardage, and a Carson Wentz interception… all on the Eagles first possession of the game, they escaped with only a 3-0 deficit. In the second the Eagles outscored the Redskins 17-7, and barely looked back. We are seeing Wentz to continue to develop, take chances, and make miraculous escapes from the pocket. He is also taking a tough sack, and then throwing touchdown passes a play or two later.
