Lift is the push that lets something move up. It is the force that is the opposite of weight. “...When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him and put him to flight” (Isaiah 59:19). The Lord is ready and capable of lifting you up and out of your circumstances no matter the heaviness you are bearing! Then, as a follower, it is our job to stretch out our hands to others and lift them up with the same power that has lifted us.
