The town is in a miserable state with the stench of death and decay in the air. Rats run freely through the streets as townsfolk remove dead bodies from homes. The mayor tells them that the doctor has been holed up in a warehouse that’s been converted into a hospital and that no one has seen him for days. Upon entering the “hospital” the stench is overwhelming and flies have been busy at work. There are many dead bodies but the faint sounds of those who still cling to life can be heard within.
