Emmaus deftly sets up a synchronous orbit between the Heretics Bane and the planet and pilots the shuttle down to the mausoleum. Upon entering the demon chamber the tech priest Darius Adolium informs Venari that Rogue Trader Haldane has received his shipment and that there have been no interruptions. Kynnoch and Jarnan both immediately begin approaching the pool and the demon. Venari attempts to stop Jarnan who explains he just wants to take a sample of the blood while Kynnoch makes a beeline for the demon.
