This episode features the lovely Marisol, the creator behind Mestizo, an authentic Mexican restaurant and tequila bar located in Kings Cross. Marisol opened Mestizo in 2005 and it has since served the gastronomic needs of Mexican expats, locals and tourists alike. We find out about some of Mexico’s most underrated dishes, what it’s like to run a successful restaurant and what the Day of the Dead (Dia De Los Muertos) is about.
