Navigating The Modern World is a place to come to get new perspective on ALL THINGS LIFE. Nothing is off limits and all are welcome! I feel like I have a love/hate relationship with social media and the news. I am constantly feeling the power of it and then feeling the disempowerment of it. I was recently reading The Book of Joy by the Dalai Lama, Desmond Tutu, and Douglas Abrams and there was a story in it about how social platforms bring awareness to things going on in the world. In that moment I realized social media is a part of the whole... it is a powerful tool for us to gain awareness of what is going on in the world and then from the place we get to powerfully choose how we live here. A deep realization of the holiness of everything.
