This Lent, how will you grow closer to Him? The Gospel comes from: Matthew 17:1-9 Deacon Jimmy Ghiglione: In today’s Gospel, we hear the account of the Transfiguration of Jesus. And at the end of this scene, the Gospel says, “from a cloud came a voice that said, ‘This is my beloved Son, with whom I am well please; listen to Him.’ “ So, when the Father says this is my beloved Son, listen to Him. He’s saying to each of us follow Jesus’ example.
