The Israelites had been in Egypt 430 years before their salvation - that's a long time. Even though God's blessing was on them and the population multiplied, eventually they came under the evil oppression of Pharaoh. But God had promised to liberate them and their freedom began with a divine encounter when Moses drew near to God at the burning bush and was enabled and anointed to bring the Israelites out from Egypt. We long to encounter God and to draw near to his presence - so what can learn from this moment in Exodus 3?
