The Bible teaches that humanity was made in the image of God (imago Dei), and that our purpose is to represent God - to bear his image in our lives. The problem is, since the fall recorded in Genesis 3 we have been defacing ourselves and others. We need someone to restore us to our true calling to be imago Dei.
