Mid April hearalds the time when plants really start to open up and with moisture levels remaining low Pauric noted that conditions are ideal for planting over the Easter weekend. It's also the time to start hanging baskets with trailing petunias, fuschia, lobelia and nastursiums all available now. Pauric gave tips on growing sweet peas, rhubarb and feeding strawberries while hardy hedging plants were featured for exposed areas.
