Advent means waiting. We live in a world that tries to eliminate any waiting. The Israelites were waiting for a Messiah to come and bring hope, love, peace, and joy. Christmas was not just for those waiting 2,000 years ago, but it is the promise for all of us who continue to wait today. This week the focus is on how love entered the world in a new way, so many years ago. God still wants to invade our world with love today.
