Our Devotion (Acts 2:42-47) Have you ever wondered what it would look like if we just got back to the basics of the first church closest to the time of Jesus? Acts 2 actually gives us a snapshot of the life and ministry of the early church. Although we are thousands of years removed from this moment in church history, and although the early church did not always live up to its own ideals, God calls our church and every church to be devoted to what the first church was committed to. This pandemic that we are coming out of has led many individuals into social isolation and spiritual disconnection. But it’s time to be devoted both to God in our worship and to each other in our love.
