Our plans have changed, our trips have canceled, and the normal rhythms of life have been altered. Or maybe this season has brought to you far more serious interruptions than that. So how are you dealing with your life’s interruptions? Or rather, what are you doing with your life’s interruptions? In this season of uncertainty and interruption, we are reaching back to a place of normalcy. We have all said this at some point in the last few weeks, “I can’t wait for things to be normal again.” There’s a part of us that just wants to get back to what is familiar and comfortable. But what if instead of reaching back at an old normal, God is wanting us to reach forward to a new one? What if this whole season is to lead us to a place that is better than normal?
