Seen in the photo with football coach Pat Koers, Coach Riensche was a main stay at Broad Ripple from 1978-1989! Starting his coaching career at IPS #44 where Coach Bill Smith started, Coach Riensche coached basketball, baseball, cross country, and soccer! He along with Coach Smith and Coach Gene Ring are the ones who drove me to be like a sponge and have the passion for keeping the nostalgia alive! Moving on to Warren Central to coach both baseball and assist on basketball...Coach Riensche spent 44 years teaching and coaching young people with a passion!
