Overview - God's Hand Is Not Short. Acts 25:1-12. In our message today we begin the next chapter of the Book of Acts, Ch. 25, but we also begin a new chapter of Paul’s life and for him in ministry. Felix, the governor of Caesarea has moved on, and a new governor has taken over, Porcius Festus. He comes to Caesarea, probably to be sworn in to office, and we read of him only staying three days. Then he goes to Jerusalem, where we see him immediately having an audience with those Jews that want Paul dead, and they have a request for him. A wicked request. Why does Festus only stay in Caesarea three days? How did the Jews get an audience with Festus just three days after he is in office? What is their wicked request of him.
