Concerning reports about the upcoming closure of the PS3, PSP, and Vita stores were officially confirmed by Sony on Monday morning. The PS3 and PSP stores will go offline in July, followed by the Vita store closing in August. Of course these systems are extremely old, but this once again brings up the topic of Sony's near-complete lack of an acceptable solution for backwards compatibility.
