This week I talked with Playmakers FC Podcast host, and Prost Amerika writer, Conor Dunford. We spoke just after a disappointing draw at home to Newcastle. The 5th consecutive match in which Saints failed to score. A match where the team denied him press access and dropped points to the side entering the day on the bottom of the table. It was, in part due to other circumstances in my life at the time, a hard podcast to record. And, none of it matters. Not the result, not Saints’ table position. Nothing. We recorded all of this before he or I knew anything of the tragic helicopter crash that claimed the lives of 5 people after Leicester City’s draw at home to West Ham. It put things into perspective, but that perspective doesn’t exactly show up on the podcast, and I just want to be very clear that we recorded the podcast without any knowledge of the crash. Since then, I’ve had the wonderful opportunity to take my dad and my so to game 5 of the World Series, where the Red Sox clinched the title over the Dodger
