There are some opportunities that may only come once in a lifetime. I’ve had the wonderful pleasure of hosting and speaking with a number of people on this show. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 80-90 different voices on the club have been aired on this show. Some happy, others sad, some critical, others full of praise. From former players to public figures to people I now consider friends, it’s been great. Speaking to other fans is the best part of doing this. And with all that said, this week is special. I had the opportunity to speak with Tom Deacon, comedian, presenter, podcast host and pretty much just all around amazing guy. I can honestly say I wish I had more time with him. I wish I could have gotten more into his comedy and life, but we were here to talk about Saints, and about his work with them and being a fan, and what it’s like when those two things overlap.
