We might say that God grows our faith in three ways. I'm going to give you the Latin terms. (1) Tentatio (2) Oratio and (3) Meditatio. Or to put it in English, God strengthens us with (1) trials of all kinds (2) prayer and (3) through meditation. This third activity of the Christian will be the focus of our sermon.
