  For folks who grew up in Ontario, there is probably no more well known fishing figure than "Big" Jim McLaughlin. He's not "on the TV" famous, but rather a legendary tournament angler, and huge ambassador not only for Shimano, but for the sport of fishing in Canada as a whole. In Ontario at least, you don't have to go far to meet this gentle giant. Jim spends a great deal of his time speaking to clubs, and appearing at trade shows; he's no spring chicken, but "Big" Jim makes a regular pilgrimage from small town Eastern Ontario to wherever he's speaking next.
