Many people would say that it's about having high standards and doing your best. Many people in this world have a sense of excellence control their temper. They are not the type to lash out at someone for a wrong they didn't do. Rather, they earn respect by overlooking wrongs doing and forgiving easily. They also tend to be proactive rather than reactive, which can help them take control of situations. In John 8:1-12, Jesus demonstrated having a sense of excellence when the Sadducees and Pharisees came with an offensive accusation to tempt Him to anger and misjudge.
