"He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said." 1 Corinthians 15:4 The resurrection of Jesus is a popular topic of discussion and debate, including whether it even happened. This debate is often framed in terms of the past and the present difference. It is seen as the past for some - something that happened long ago. For others, it is seen as ongoing - happening right now. So, is the resurrection the past or present? Unfortunately, there is no universal answer to this question as it depends on individual beliefs and perceptions. Many proponents of the idea that the resurrection is both past and present, as it can encompass both the physical and spiritual dimensions of life but all depend on the dimension of an individual's life. Those who argue that resurrection is a past event typically believe that Jesus was resurrected on Easter morning and then ascended into heaven. They see the resurrection as an event that already happened and is now over. In contrast, tho
