This is a conclusion that many people come to after witnessing the direct impact that praising God has on their lives. The experience of being filled with thanksgiving allows us to see our life in a new light, and it often leads to changes we never thought possible. Praise is a powerful tool of encouragement. It builds people up and confuses the enemy. When we are filled with thanksgiving, our outlook on life changes, and we often make changes that radiate for other people to see. When we focus on who God is in our life, we begin to build up an identity of righteousness that attracts blessings from our Heavenly Father. For example, Paul and Silas praised God in prison, and they were miraculously set free. Their faith attracted the presence of God, and they received His favor.
