Sermon for the Second Sunday of Easter. The Scripture readings are Ezekiel 37:1-14; 1 John 5:4-10; and John 20:19-31.You do not see Jesus in His resurrected flesh, but you hear the same proclamation of Jesus, “Peace be with you.” That peace is yours because Jesus Christ, true God, begotten of the Father from all eternity was crucified, died, and was buried. He is risen again to give you His peace and the forgiveness of all your sins now and for all eternity. And He speaks His blessing to you.
