After a week off, due to Kevin being deathly sick, the boys are back in town! The trend of acquisitions continues as Embracer has purchased Square Enix's western studios for $300M. While Square Enix didn't seem to ever be content with the output and success of these studios, the price tag seems like an incredible bargain when you look at the IP alone that is part of the acquisition. In other surprising news, WB Montreal announced that the last gen versions of Gotham Knights have been shelved and the game will only release on current gen systems and PCs this October. This has the guys excited as the industry slowly starts to pivot away from last gen consoles, but neither are sold on the game just yet.
