Magnificent Life

"Behold, the days are coming," declares the LORD, "when the plowman will overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes, the sower of seed. The mountains will drip with sweet wine, with which all the hills will flow." Amos 9:13 In times of darkness, it's important to remember that brighter days are coming. I am sure God has spoken to you before, and He is reminding you again that "weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning" (Psalm 30:5). God has always been a God of hope, and he never fails to keep his promises. This is something we can hold onto amid trials and heartache. One of the most famous examples is from the book of Amos. God promises that despite the darkness of the present moment, he has a plan for a glorious future: "I will restore the fortunes of my people Israel, and they will rebuild the ruined cities and live in them. They will plant vineyards and drink their wine; they will make gardens and eat their fruit. I will plant them in their land, and they will never again be up
