In the conclusion to this interview, ITB's new host Amy Schattel breaks down some pediatrics questions with Dr. Lisa Costello. Lisa M. Costello, MD, MPH, FAAP is a lifelong West Virginian who hails from Weirton, WV. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department Pediatrics at West Virginia University (WVU) in Morgantown, WV and a Pediatric Hospitalist at WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital. She is co-director of the Pediatrics Clerkship, leads a healthcare literacy and patient advocacy curriculum thread for the M.D. program, and is the advisor for the medical student group, Student Advocates Impacting Decision on Healthcare. Dr. Costello currently serves as the president of the West Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Vice-President of the West Virginia State Medical Association, Vice-Chair of WESPAC, and Board of Directors for the WV Children’s Health Insurance Program. She is a member of Leadership WV Class of 2020. Dr. Costello currently serves as an advisor to the WV Department of Health
