Magnificent Life

It's easy to put our hope in people, but what happens when they let us down? We can be left feeling disappointed and hopeless. For example, a doctor may not be able to heal us, a teacher may not be able to help us learn and pass, a spouse may not be able to make us happy, and an employer may not be able to give us a job or promotion, or friends may let us down. However, when we put our hope in Christ, we can be sure that we will await confidently and be found without shame. When we put our hope in God's Word, we can trust that he will keep his promises. We can also be assured that he is always faithful. God is always there for us, even when we are waiting. In the Bible, there are many examples of people who waited on God.
