Psalm 5:3 Waiting on God can be difficult when it seems like sometimes He doesn't answer our prayers the way we want Him to. We may be waiting on Him to fix a problem in our lives or to change someone else's heart. We may be waiting on Him to do something great in the world. But while we are waiting, we must remember to watch with expectancy and keep asking God to help us, as today's bible verse said. Elijah was a man who waited on God. He showed great patience while waiting for God to answer his prayers. In 1 king 18:42-46, Elijah prayed seven times for rain to come so the drought could end. He didn't give up on God, even when it seemed no answer was coming. Instead, he watched with expectancy, knowing God would answer him in His time. Even though Elijah's servant kept saying, "there is nothing there," Elijah didn't give up. He knew God was still working in the situation, even if it wasn't the way he
