Magnificent Life

"Be not quick in your spirit to become angry, for anger lodges in the bosom of fools." Ecclesiastes 7:9  Patience is a virtue that is important in life. It is exhibited when one is enduring difficult times with a calm and composed attitude. However, patience is often preached but not often exhibited because we are a society of instant gratification. We want what we want, and we want it now. Therefore, we are impatience with others and with ourselves. Not only that, but we are constantly on the go and don't have time to slow down. Patience is like a calm lake on a hot summer day. Just as the lake remains cool and serene despite the heat, we too can remain patient despite the trials and tribulations of life. It is being content and considerate of the things happening in the past and the present moment. It is having the peace that comes from knowing that God is in control and that he is working out all things for our good.
