Summary from August 21, 2022 – The Gifts of God, Including Salvation, Are Irrevocable. A look at Romans 11:29Frequently in Christian circles people are told that the gifts of God can be taken away. Often the Old Covenant verse Job 1:21 (The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away) is used to support this point of view. However, the Apostle Paul is clear in Romans 11:29 that the gifts from God are not revocable or conditional. In this weeks discussion we take a deeper look at the variety of gifts given by God and how you cannot cause them to be revoked. This concept includes salvation. Scripture assures us that we have been given by the Father to the Son, therefore you cannot lose your place in the heart of the Trinity.
