In this week’s gathering we discuss how the concept of diminishing in nature and function is an incorrect interpretation of John 3:30. John the Baptist was a representation of the law and therefore once Jesus arrived on the scene as grace and mercy, the law had to decrease or diminish in importance. This verse invites a change of perspective from the Old Covenant to the New Covenant.
