Nothing has hindered humankind's relationship with God more than the sin of consciousness. It is why unbelievers believe their sins are too grievous to be forgiven by God. It's why believers question their stand before God; if they are truly forgiven or affirmed, If they need to show penance for sins before they are forgiven. For some, it's why they will hold back on the gifting of God in their life because somewhere in their minds, they still feel they are not worthy of all that God has done; but this ought not to be so. Many scripture texts affirm the forgiveness God has given us, and you must be abreast of the same. For example, psalms 103:3,12 'Who forgives all your iniquities; who heals all your diseases; As far as the east is from the west, so far has God removed our transgressions from us.
