Magnificent Life

"Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and the same judgment." 1 Corinthians 1:10 Unity and peace are two important ingredients in a sandwich for progress among the body of Christ. When there is unity, there will be peace. There is a blessing upon those that follow after peace and try as much as possible to keep the body of Christ (the church) in unity. The bible makes us understand that the meek shall inherit the earth and delight themselves in the abundance of peace (Psalm 37:11). Jesus Christ, throughout His ministry, kept His disciples in unity and bond of peace, and we are also expected to live in peace and unity among brethren. Therefore, in His prayers for the disciples, we saw that He kept them together in peace and unity, and none of them was lost except the son of perdition that the scriptures might be fulfilled ( John 17:12).
