Magnificent Life

"This is the day the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it." Psalm 118:24 How often do we go through the motions of our day-to-day lives without really living? We wake up, go to work or school, come home, eat dinner, watch TV and go to bed. Rinse and repeat. It's easy to get stuck in a rut and forget that each day is a gift from God. But what if we changed our perspective and decided to make every day extraordinary? What if we looked at each day as an opportunity to appreciate the goodness of God in our lives and others? Remember, this day is from the LORD, and it should be marvelous in our eyes (Psalm 118:23). When we start each day to live in goodness and enjoy the blessings of God, our ordinary days become extraordinary. We begin to see the beauty in everyday moments and the people around us. God has given us each day as a gift. It is up to us to make the most of it. We can choose to exist day by day, or we can choose to live life to the fullest.
