I had a wonderful time talking to Burt about the Reel AND Real life tough guy Lawrence Tierney. Lawrence was a fascinating man, who could recite poetry, knew all the classics, and was a brawler with multiple arrests. Was he bad to the bone, just b b bad, or misunderstood? His career spanned decades, with lots of droughts in between.
