On the CBS News "Weekend Roundup" with host Allison Keyes; Late Friday, the U-S responded to the attack at Kabul airport with a drone strike in Afghanistan, this came after President Biden vowed revenge after an Islamic State suicide bomber killed dozens, including U-S Service Members, just outside of the Kabul airport. U-S forces there are on alert for more attacks. This comes as the Biden Administration races to meet a self imposed deadline to get Americans, and at risk Afghans, out after a Taliban takeover. CBS's Nancy Cordes reports from the White House. Allison speaks with an Afghan American woman living in the U-S who lost three family members in that attack about her fears for her family. Covid-19 cases, deaths, and hospitalizations continue to rise across the country, the nation is projected to see nearly 100-thousand more deaths between now and December 1st.
