Delroy shares how paying attention to your walk with God can be so helpful for us as followers of Christ trying to live healthy lives. Dr Hall is Lecturer, freelance trainer, academic, counsellor and pastoral counsellor He has worked in a variety of settings, via Delwes Consultancy, which offers on-line consultancy, training, seminars, and webinars on a variety of subjects, but his focus is dealing with loss and grief, depression, anxiety, and clergy stress. Primarily, Dr Hall is a people development consultant committed to dealing with human pain while developing trust, so people can recover and thrive. He is an active leader in his community. His teaching experience includes giving lectures at Harvard University and Boston College Massachusetts, USA, Durham University, UK and has taught at Leeds Beckett University. He was appointed as the Sports Chaplain for Sheffield United Football Club in September 2017.

He and his wife Susanna moved to York from Brighton in 2008 when Alan joined the staff at City Church. Alan’s shady past involves five years as lead guitarist in the popular Christian band, Phatfish. He now leads the team of elders that lead City Church and is passionate about guitars, golf, Yorkshire ale and curry (probably in that order). He is currently studying for an MA in Theology at Durham University and is passionate about Thomas Aquinas.

Having come to Newcastle to study Medicine, Ian went on to plant what would become City Church. Ian loves teaching and serving other churches in the North East as well as reading, doing up houses, drinking good wine and scuba diving. The Galloways have five children and live in Newcastle.

    In this episode Dave and Theo caught up with Keith Jones who teaches church history for our 1st Year students. Keith is passionate about Bradford, transport and seeing the history of the church make a real difference to the everyday lives of Christian community and mission.   Dr Keith Jones was the Rector of the International Baptist Theological Seminary in Prague from 1998-2013.  He has extensive experience in theological higher education, administration and management. Keith's main areas of academic research are Baptist and Anabaptist life and thought as well as various streams of Christian worship and liturgy. He is President of the Baptist Historical Society, a Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, and teaches in a number of UK theological institutions.
