From 2017 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar joins us to talk about his new graphic novel from Titan Mycroft Holmes and The Apocalypse Handbook. He's a longtime Sherlock Holmes fan and we talk about his take on the elder Holmes backstory, something Arthur Conan Doyle barely hinted at in few of Sherlock's adventures. Kareem has created an exciting steampunk backdrop and envisions the young Mycroft as a dashing hero rubbing shoulders with many famous people of the 19th century. This is a great read for Holmes and steampunk fans. We also go full blast into Kareem's life long love of comcs from buying them at his local candy store as a child, to his adult appreciation of the books today. You'll hear about encounters with comic book luminaries, adventures at san diego comic cons, and much more. 

Michael has a new kickstarter for his book about Steve Holland. Steve was the physical model for Doc Savage when batman books started using James Bama to paint new cover in 1964, and Steve's real features continue to be the signaturer look for Doc 50 years later. Steve also starred in the 1954 Flash Gordon TV series. The book is a great tributekl to a forgotten Nerd Culture hero .Michael also talks about working with Howard Chaykin and Denys Cowan. Then we talk about his work with Music Icon Quincy Jones for his Qwest Record Label in the 90s including working with legends like Ray Charles.Also, stories about Michael's work on special features and documentaries for films like Creed Black Adam and Black Panether . He gives very candid thoughts on these films and stars like The Rock, Michael B Joedan and Chadwick Boseman.

From 2010 Today Allan Heinberg is back to talk about avengrs the childrens crusade. The 9 part bi-monthly series begins this week, and re-unites the young avengers creative team of Heinberg and artist Jim Cheung.  The story is a self contained event the crosses the Avengers and -X-men worlds, as Young Avenger Wiccan searches for the women he believes is his mother , Wanda the Scarlet Witch . The longtime Avenger’s mind seemed to shatter as she killed Avenger teamates and Mutants in the mid 2000 events Avengers Disassembled and House Of M .Allan talks about writing a story that will stand the test of time, while  trying not to conflict with the current monthto month continuity.We also discuss his 4 years of work on the popular tv series Grey’s Anatomy comming to a close and the similarities and differences of the TV writers room, compared to the Marvel creative summits .

From 2007- Writer Allan Heinberg wraps up his long awaited 5 part Wonder Woman arc from DC comics, and discusses the story and delays with host John Siuntres.We also discuss the upcoming Marvel Young Avengers mini series featuring Allan & Jim Cheung's team now in the hands of other creators.Plus we look at Allan's television work, currently as a co-executive producer of Grey's Anatomy.
