It's been two months in the making and it's showtime! Tonight it's our Bombshell Radio Top 10 Countdown May/June The judges have come to a consensus and we're ready to roll. This was a difficult choice ,so many great songs and artists to choose from. All of these artists stood out to us and deserve to be recognized. As usual on the show we'll check artists Facebook profiles and try to enlighten ourselves and our listeners with any background on our chosen 10. We're looking for likes, interests, and influences. Then as a way of saying thank-you to the artist we will let their favourites dictate our playlist tonight by playing one or two of their choices. It's Showtime! Today's show was inspired while watching on Netflix a really bad Nick Cage disaster film. Perhaps one of the worst films of all time, and apparently one of the most expensive Christian films ever made. Which got me thinking about how to write better movies, then writing books. Always looking to add different twists the programming with Guest DJs and podcasts. Tonight it's Addictions and Other Vices -Time Warp 1960. I've decided not to voice the show as I think it moves at a better pace without narration. Also I believe they're are better outlets that serve that purpose. I chose 1960 as it's the time when things started really changing in music. I've included the politically incorrect novelty tracks. And some select choices from that year that fit the hour. As with all of my theme shows something a word, phrase, event or feeling gives me the inspiration to expand into a theme of sorts. So for this reason I believe this fits into the Addictions and Other Vices criteria nicely. I'm amazed at how insular the enjoyment of music has become.
