We are very pleased to bring to you a special broadcast from an artist we have huge respect for Rodney Cromwell. We've featured a number of songs from Rodney's own music catalogue on Bombshell Radio. Tonight Rodney hosts his favourites of 2016. I first read these selections on his Facebook and Spotify feeds and contacted Rodney and asked if he was open to hosting these tracks as an audio presentation for our station. To our amazement not only did he accept our offer he also DJ'd the songs spending some valuable Christmas time to put together this great mix. After listening to part one of this two part compilation I'm pumped to hear the follow up next week. I'm sure plenty artists we've featured deserve this mantle, for reasons of sanity I've had to cap at our Top 100 of 2016. I've mostly pooled from our Top 10 shows. I've had to nix a few tracks from the list as they we're released years ago. My thanks to all the artists, labels, and promo companies that sent in material this year. It's our Bombshell Radio Top 10 for December. These are the tracks we've played on our Addictions and Other Vices show that have stood out and made an impression on us. Then myself and a panel of judges select our favourite tracks. A majority of the tracks chosen, I'm proud to say originated from our Addictions inbox. Tonight for all the featured artists we're going to read through their Facebook profiles and try to learn a little bit more about them. Hopefully find likes and influences and play some of those tracks as an added bonus. Like our other shows we do have a song substitute standing by. Tonight in keeping with the current Toronto weather our song substitute is ice. Should be fun.
