Welcome to the first episode of a new Patreon exclusive series known as Cryptid Cinema Club! We're so happy to announce that once a month we'll be taking a look at a Cryptid film, watching it and discussing it. This month we're taking a deep dive into The Legend of Boggy Creek, the first sasquatch documentary/movie ever made!!! Maybe. The Campfire heads over to Japan this week to attempt to find the worlds chubbiest snake, the Tsuchinoko! This double jumping mystery dwells in the mountains of Japan and has a liking to liquor, come gather around the campfire to hear about the other wild things this snake does!

Cryptid Campfire tackles the crystal skulls in this week's Tall Tale! Are there 13 mystical skulls that when united are able to usher in a new age of enlightenment? Or is it all a bunch of pishi caca? Gather around the Campfire to find out!

This week the Campfire takes a trip down under and we visit the land of Drop Bears! What are these vicious koala monsters that plummet onto non Australians? We find out in this next exciting episode of Cryptid Campfire!

This week the Campfire packs a spooky lasagna for dinner and its name is the RAKE! That's right, we begin our deep dive into the spookier world of the paranormal with the Rake, the creepiest pasta of them all!

This week the Campfire takes a deep dive into the Thylacine otherwise known as the Tasmanian Tiger. This creature has been sighted numerous times since its supposed extinction date, leading many people to believe that there is a small population still alive somewhere in Tasmania.

In our first Fireside Chats episode we talk to Tobias Wayland and Adam Benedict about The Mothman Prophecies, our favorite movie monsters and Bigfoot's greatest fear, John Lithgow!

This week the Campfire visits Maryland to talk about an American Dragon named the Snallygaster! When did this creature from the Old world traverse to the New world, does it have anything to do with ice cream and moonshine? Gather around the campfire to find out!

This week the Campfire sits down with fortean researcher and author, Adam Benedict of the Pine Barrens Institute. We chat a little bit about his research methods, his five favorite monsters and his own personal cryptid sighting.

Today the Campfire visits Lake Tahoe and discusses some of the mysteries surrounding the lake involving Native Americans, gangsters and French oceanographers. And of course we talk about the local lake monster, Tessie!

This week on Tall Tales we talk about the cousin of the Mokele Mbembe, the Kasai Rex. While not a sauropod like the Mbembe, this is a man eating, elephant eating Tyrannosaurus Rex living in the heart of Africa! So gather around the Campfire and listen to us break it down. A small disclaimer: Due to COVID-19 we are not able to meet up in person to record our episodes, but we are still committed to getting content out to you all, so please bear with us as we experiment with different alternatives to recording online as it will result in fluctuating audio quality.  I hope you still enjoy this episode although the audio is not great. We have since found another alternative to this method which records higher quality audio and we have also upgraded our mics. So this time next week we should sounding normalish more or less.

This week the Campfire visits the jungles of Java to discuss the giant bat like creature known as the Ahool. Named after the sound it emits, the Ahool is reported to fly at incredible speeds, eat fish and sometimes eat humans. Let's gather around the campfire and get to the bottom of this.

Pukwudgies are known for their trickery and the harm they do to man,  but it wasn't always that way. Gather around the Campfire this week as we talk about the legend of the Pukwudgie and its history with humans.

This week in Tall Tales Eli and Alex break down the legend of our home field, Los Angeles. We also reveal the origins of the Cryptid Coliseum and if that doesn't sound any good, just wait till you found who is joining us on this episode!

This week we're talking about one of the tallest tales yet, the Borax Man of Death Valley. Supposedly after falling into a vat of borax, a man was transformed into the Borax Man, cursed to wander the Valley of Death for as long as he shall live. Or is he?

Originating from Brazilian folk lore, the Mapinguari is a cyclops like beast with backwards feet and a mouth in place of its stomach.
