Why can sharing our faith feel so awkward? Oftentimes we wonder how to get started, and what to say. How Jesus engaged with Nicodemus in conversation has some answers for us. Sometimes it seems easier to just “do all the stuff” for your relationship with Jesus than to actually BE in relationship with Him, but that ends up feeling hallow. How can you create space in your life that allows for your relationship with Jesus to flourish, and subsequently every other relationship in your life? One of the great paradoxes of life is how relationships brings about our greatest joys, but also our deepest pains. Jesus's call to be and make disciples cannot be carried out at arms length. Discipleship is designed with relationship required. For many people this is scary, but this is where we actually find healing. This week we start our Discipleship sermon series as we look at the mission Jesus gave us and consider how we can enjoy Him as we journey together. Some family drama persists because the root of the problem is never addressed. Instead, rash decisions are made (creating new problems), and old disfunctional patterns emerge. How do we break the cycle? *Sermon Notes: * Genesis 38:1-26 Deuteronomy 25:5 Ruth 4:11-13 1 John 5:17 Implications: While the world judges your every action, God judges your heart. Set your heart on His Kingdom and His righteousness. When you don’t invite God into your decisions, oftentimes you create new (and potentially bigger) problems. Own your mistakes and others will benefit; this is especially true in the areas of life you are seen as a leader. 4.Become a student of your past, then invest in your emotional and spiritual health to forge a new future.

Who sold Joseph into slavery? Are you sure of your answer? And why did God give Joseph his dreams? Maybe it is because when you ignore tension within family, eventually God will make you face it. *Sermon Notes: * Genesis 37 *Implications: * Family is safest when everyone is favored. Handle your dreams and giftings with humility. God’s blessings in your life are meant to overflow into the lives of others. Celebrate the success of others, even if it costs you. Avoid the temptation of seeking revenge when there is an imbalance of power. You can ignore conflict within family, but God will make you face it eventually.

You've probably heard "The Golden Rule" quoted a couple times in your life, but how is Jesus really calling us to live with this command? If you are unwilling to forgive others, nothing else you do “for God” will matter!

Is life in God’s kingdom all about rules and regulations? Logan tells us about how Jesus says your life needs to be radically different, and that starts with your heart. Sermon Notes: Matthew 5:20-48 Leviticus 19:1-2 Genesis 17:1 Luke 6:36 Implication: Jesus isn’t putting up extra rules to make you follow the main rules better. He seeks to change your heart to look like God’s heart.

This week we hear the story of a woman who desperately wants to just touch the cloak of Jesus, and how her live is changed by that.
