  • TLTJTP: The Sterling Tapes, Ty Lue, and the 19-20 Schedule

    27/08/2019 Duración: 41min

The lull of the offseason continues, but there have been some Clippers-related things to discuss in recent weeks. The Clippers took something that the Lakers figured was theirs in new assistant coach Tyronn Lue, and the schedule has plenty of highlights. But, perhaps more interestingly, Ramona Shelburne put out a 30 for 30 on ESPN focusing on Donald Sterling, his ownership of the Clippers, and his exit from the team. The guys reminisce on what was a bit of a confusing time to be a Clipper fan, particularly in the midst of a playoff series against the Golden State Warriors in the infancy of the Steph Curry era. 07/08/2019 Duración: 01h08min

Well, free agency was mostly over about a month ago, but the Clippers are still getting the edges cleaned up. Patrick Patterson seemed like he was coming, but now he may not be. Rob and Shap talk about his potential utility on this team, and whether or not they think the Clips still sign him. The guys also discuss how they feel regarding FIBA dropouts, as well as the upcoming marquee matchups announced for the upcoming season. They then spend some time talking about a great Patrick Beverley year before closing with a bunch of your Twitter questions. The offseason has slowed down, but the pod just keeps coming on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

You might still be on a bit of a high, and so are we. Clipper Steve returns today to discuss all the incredible Clipper moves that have been going on over the past week. The Clippers final roster continued to fill itself out, as JaMychal Green also returned on a valuable room exception deal, and of course Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are still Clippers. While Leonard did sign a shorter deal than expected, things are still looking bright, and it puts the pressure on the Clippers to keep fielding a contender-worthy roster. The guys also discuss Summer League, as the Clippers wrapped up in Vegas yesterday. All that and more on the latest the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Editor's note: There was a slight technical issue at around 4:40: Steve's projected starting lineup is Pat-Shamet-Kawhi-PG-Zu. Learn more about your ad choices. 08/07/2019 Duración: 01h06min

We're still processing things, everyone. Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are still Los Angeles Clippers, and there is going to be a lot of talk about their fit on the team this offseason. Ivica Zubac also signed a deal to stay with the team for the next 4 years at a decent, not great 28 million dollar clip. JaMychal Green remains a piece floating out there that the Clippers hope to keep, but may fetch a contract too rich for the team. Sabreena Merchant joins in to talk about the team, and to discuss the Clippers-Lakers rivalry, which seems more real than ever before, as well as to help answer some Twitter questions. 06/07/2019 Duración: 02h32min

WHAT. The Clippers just pulled off a massive coup while everyone was sleeping, signing Kawhi Leonard and trading for the Thunder's Paul George. While our very own Shai Gilgeous-Alexander might be gone, sometimes you have to pull the trigger. The Clippers gave up an unprecedented haul in draft picks along with their promising point guard, but Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are now Clippers! Make no mistake about it, this is arguably the most important day in Clipper history. We've got it all for you, along with the opinions and reactions of a star-studded cast of Clippers fans and media members guests, and of course your Twitter questions, on a RIDICULOUS episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices. 02/07/2019 Duración: 01h14min

The guys are here to talk about what's going on with Kawhi, celebrate the return of Patrick Beverley, and touch on the Mo Harkless deal that brought an 11 million dollar expiring deal to the Clippers as well as a protected future first rounder. The Kawhi Sweepstakes should hopefully be done in the coming days, but it's going to feel like much longer. The guys discuss all that and answer your Twitter questions on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  • TLTJTP: Clippers Draft Recap with Trevor Magnotti and Free Agency Chatter with Lucas

    22/06/2019 Duración: 01h29min

The Clippers traded into the first round of the NBA Draft with Philly's future first from next year. In return, they netted FSU's Mfiondu Kabengele, a 6'10 big man with tenacity on both ends and range on his shot. They also drafted another FSU alumni in Terance Mann in the second round, another player with nice defensive upside. How did they do with these picks? We got Trevor Magnotti from The Step Back and sister Cavs SB Nation blog Fear The Sword for his draft expertise, and he's got all the details on these two, from their NBA comps to reasonable expectations. On the second half of the pod, Lucas joins the guys to talk about free agency scuttlebut, including possible targets like Al Horford, Harrison Barnes, and of course, Kawhi Leonard. • TLTJTP: Recapping the NBA Finals and the Looming Offseason

    14/06/2019 Duración: 01h30min

The NBA Finals just ended and NBA basketball is done for the season, but it ended with a bang. Kawhi Leonard, a guy Clipper fans are quite familiar with, won another MVP, and two free agent superstars suffered huge injuries with long recovery times with Klay Thompson's torn ACL and Kevin Durant's ruptured Achilles. How does this effect what the Clippers want to do? Does much change as far as the Clippers go? Does this make Kawhi less likely to leave? Lots of things to chew on, and your Twitter questions on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  • TLTJTP: Reviewing the 2018-2019 Clippers Centers, and Finals Talk

    01/06/2019 Duración: 01h02min

The Finals are upon us, and while there are players to keep an eye on from the Clippers perspective, we're back to talk about the centers that were on the Clippers roster this past season. While guys like Montrezl Harrell and Ivica Zubac made their impressions late, Boban Marjanovic and Marcin Gortat were given big minutes early in the season. There are a lot of interesting tidbits from the Clippers' perhaps most fluid position, including some G League guys. The guys also talk a bit about the Clips fine for tampering, the Finals at large, and answer your Twitter questions on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices. • TLTJTP: Free Agency Chatter, Kawhi Gloom, and Some Playoff Talk

    25/05/2019 Duración: 01h29min

Keep calm everyone! The Clippers future is still bright, even if all these Kawhi Leonard wins are a little bit discouraging. There's a good chance he might not care about how far the Raps make it in the playoffs, but watching him thrive and carry the Raptors to wins is not particularly exciting for Clippers fans. The Raptors are a win from the NBA finals, but the Clippers still have news. Patrick Beverley got snubbed from the All NBA Defense teams, Shai did not make the All Rookie First Team, and the summer is getting more and more exciting. Lucas swings by and gives some of his thoughts on Clipper happenings and NBA free agency, and the guys take your Twitter questions on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices. • TLTJTP: Clips Nation Founder Steve Perrin Discusses All Things Clippers

    18/05/2019 Duración: 01h51min

By the grace of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, Steve Perrin is joining us today! For those of you who are not familiar with Our Fearless Leader, the original Clipper Steve founded Clips Nation in 2006, and for many years wrote virtually every word on the website. In 2015, Steve gave the reigns to Lucas Hann, and although he has written here and there on the site since, we have missed seeing his words consistently on our screen very much. Much to our pleasure, Steve is here to share his Clipper fandom, his many years writing and covering the team, and how he feels about this very fun squad we have all come to love. He'll also be taking some of your Twitter questions, on a special episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  • TLTJTP: Love Letter to the 18-19 Clippers

    11/05/2019 Duración: 01h28min

It feels weird not talking about current Clippers basketball games, but the future is bright. The guys talk about what was a great season in a bit more detail, look forward to the upcoming offseason, and chat about the current NBA playoffs, including having a chuckle at a few other things going on around the league. All that, and of course your Twitter questions on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  • TLTJTP: Clippers Fight til Finish, But Season Ends in Game 6 to Warriors

    30/04/2019 Duración: 50min

The Clippers never stopped fighting. In a game where the Warriors were comfortably ahead, the Clips kept putting just enough pressure on the Warriors to make them nervous, absorbing an all-time Kevin Durant game in the process. And really, they're just relentless. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had another great home game, Danilo Gallinari played well, and Lou Williams did not. But this pod isn't just about this game, but about these Clippers, and this team as awhole. We also briefly touch on what's ahead with this summer in free agency. All that, your Twitter questions, and more on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  • TLTJTP: The Clippers Shock The Warriors In Oakland, Win 129-121

    25/04/2019 Duración: 37min

The Clippers are hardcore. They just keep coming at you, and are very much living up to the blue collar underdog tag their brand has been hyping all season. The team went into arguably the hardest place to win in the league and won AGAIN, this time without a massive comeback, but by just outplaying the extremely talented Dubs, winning 129-121. Danilo Gallinari finally put it together, Montrezl Harrell played great on both ends, and Lou Williams was absolutely unstoppable down the stretch. The Clippers also got some huge contributions from X-Factor JaMychal Green and heart of the team Patrick Beverley, who pulled in an incredible 14 rebounds. It felt like everyone chipped in this game, and we just had to talk about it right after it ended. That and your Twitter questions and ALL THE HYPE on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

  • TLTJTP: Shai Has Coming Out Party in Tough Game 4 Loss

    22/04/2019 Duración: 56min

Game 4 was a great game, but loaded with Clippers' missteps. One guy who did not misstep was the pod's beloved Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who took Doc's challenge to step up this game to heart. Shai had the offensive game of his life, but the other Clipper Doc challenged, Danilo Gallinari, continued to struggle and simply could not hit shots. Lou Williams got to his spots but was off as well, and with both of those guys struggling, it's incredible the Clippers were as close as they were. They got subtle contributions across the board outside of those three, but no one particularly stood out, aside from an extremely surprising Jerome Robinson. We talk about the game, the starting lineup change, Game 5, and take your Twitter questions on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices. • TLTJTP: Warriors Punch Back in Game 3

    21/04/2019 Duración: 43min

The highs are high and the lows are low. The Clippers, fresh off an insane comeback, got handled by the Warriors in Game 3, a game that was never in doubt. Kevin Durant decided to destroy the Clippers, and pretty much set the tone for the game with his incredible performance. Meanwhile, the Clippers just could not hit their shots, particularly Danilo Gallinari, who has mostly struggled in this series. Can the Clippers win Game 4 to ensure a Game 6? Will we have another blowout at the hands of the Dubs? What does the team need to do to stay competitive in this next one? All this, some chatter about our coveted front office, and your Twitter questions, on a less hyped episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices.
