TLTJTP: Clippers Pull off the Greatest Playoff Comeback in NBA History
17/04/2019 Duración: 56minWhat a game! We're still buzzing. The LA Clippers came back from THIRTY-ONE (3-1) down in the 3rd quarter and reeled off a comeback that will be remembered in the history of this league. Led by Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, and the inspired two-way (?!) game of Landry Shamet, the Clippers punched back and sent the dynasty Warriors to the mat, if just for a game. Keep your lottery pick -- the Clipper kids will never forget this game in any playoff game they ever play for the rest of their lives. The guys talk about the comeback, watching this team defy expectations (even their own), the players behind the comeback, your Twitter questions, and the Clippers actually going for a series lead in Los Angeles. Just like the Clips, we just keep coming back, on another episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

TLTJTP: Clippers Fight Hard, But Fall as Expected in Game 1
15/04/2019 Duración: 33minOk, take a moment to forget how poorly the Blazers and Nuggets are playing to focus on this Warriors team. They are incredibly good and will likely win this series rather convincingly, but the Clippers can improve on how they played in Game 1! The offense lagged, even though the defensive blueprint was a pretty savvy one. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Lou Williams, and Montrezl Harrell all stood out as being ready for the moment, but unfortunately the rest of the team did not. How can the team improve? Do the guys still bank on a sweep? Can we stop looking at the other teams we could have played? The guys talk a little bit more about this and the inevitable Warriors' wins to come on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices. TLTJTP: Warriors Series Preview, Ralph Appreciation, and Season Roundup
12/04/2019 Duración: 53min48 wins? Who would have expected it? But you know what would have been nice? That cushy 6 seed, and a possible path to a WCF berth! Ok, the Clippers probably were not getting to that elusive 3rd round either way, but man the guys can't help but think about that Laker loss changing the trajectory of these playoffs. But honestly, the team should be celebrated this season, and more than anything, Ralph Lawler should be celebrated. We talk about Bill Walton's return and Ralph's send off, and talk a little bit about this upcoming Warriors series as well as the season that was. These, your Twitter questions, and the usual bitterness that comes with rooting for this team for so long, on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices. TLTJTP: Embarrassing Lakers Loss Exposes Stumbling Clippers
06/04/2019 Duración: 01h03minRight when you thought the ghosts of Lob City were behind them, the Clippers put up a true stinker against a garbage team. The Lakers can hold their heads up high as they played with a ton of urgency, while the Clippers sleepwalked through a terrible loss that could cost them serious ground in the playoff chase to close the season. While Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continued to ball out, Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams both looked listless, though we know at least the former was a bit sick. Danilo Gallinari and Garrett Temple also showed up, but the rest of the team did not. This after a lifeless showing against the Rockets. How worried should we be about the Clippers? Can we just stop playing Wilson Chandler and Jerome Robinson? And how scary is that potential Warriors matchup that could very much happen? All this frustration and your Twitter questions on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

TLTJTP: The Playoff Bound Clippers and the Final Stretch
02/04/2019 Duración: 01h11minThe Clippers have been practically therapeutic to Clipper fans this season. Finally devoid of expectations, the team has broken every projection and are trying to somehow accomplish another 50 win season, which would be the first without Chris Paul. You know we're going to gush about Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who's put it all together this month, and is putting up some gaudy shooting splits as well as picking up his downhill play. He's not the only one, as the team went a league best (!) 14-2 in the month of March, including arguably the best play of Danilo Gallinari's career. The team also absorbed some injury scares to Patrick Beverley, Montrezl Harrell, and Landry Shamet while coming out on the other side. Now all that's left is staying healthy and seeing who shows up as our first playoff opponent. And, of course, your Twitter questions. Let's get going on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

TLTJTP: Clips Reach 5th but Lose Shamet to Injury
26/03/2019 Duración: 01h09minWe can't believe the Clippers are in 5th place right now, but maybe anything is possible in one of the more enjoyable seasons in Clippers franchise history. The team has played some weak teams recently, but they've fattened up their record on them, running just as hot as they did earlier in the season. The team has played well, but the bench has dragged with Wilson Chandler, who is mostly washed. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continues his improved play and Danilo Gallinari might be in the best stretch of his career season. Landry Shamet is injured, but it feels like a pretty variable injury, and it's encouraging that he's already questionable for the Wolves game. Who will start in his stead, and will Doc shorten the rotation as a result? TLTJTP: Gallo Appreciation, New Look Bench, and the Final 12 Games
17/03/2019 Duración: 01h11sThe Clippers continue to build momentum despite a schedule loss against the Blazers earlier in the week. They had an excellent blowout win against the Celtics and, in an otherwise pretty mediocre game, had a third quarter for the ages against the hapless Bulls. The team is fairly healthy, and ready to try and get as high of a seed as they can. The magic number for the playoffs is 8, and while we have a hard time ignoring it, it is not a bad idea to look at the schedules of the teams around you. And, what about Shai? Did you hear that we like him? All that, your Twitter questions, and more on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

TLTJTP: The Streaking Clippers Keep Rolling
10/03/2019 Duración: 01h05minThe Clippers are playing quite well. The team has lived most of the season as an underdog story, and has had to hear basketball "experts" undercut their accomplishments all year. How long until these surprising Clips no longer surprise, but are just expected? The team is at least 2 deep at every position, with even more reinforcements on the way. Have the new pickups made it hard to figure who closes games outside of our scorers? Is Ivica Zubac vs. Montrezl Harrell a real thing? Should we just max Patrick Beverley? And why can't I stop getting frustrated at all this Danilo Gallinari iso-ball? TLTJTP: Quality Win in Sacramento, and a Nice Upcoming Home Stretch
03/03/2019 Duración: 01h08minThe Clippers are fresh off a quality win against the upstart Kings, who are still pretty formidable at home despite not having rookie Marvin Bagley III. They return home for a back to back against the woeful Knicks, and then a pretty big game against the Los Angeles Lakers. The natural pessimist in the guys make them worried about the Laker game, but how worried should they be? How encouraging have the starters looked these past few games? And are Lou Williams and Danilo Gallinari running on fumes right now? All that and your Twitter questions on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad choices. TLTJTP: An Underwhelming Return from the All-Star Break
25/02/2019 Duración: 43minThe Clippers are still in the playoffs, but the Kings and Lakers are behind them with signature wins. While the Lakers can beat and lose to anyone, the Kings are very much real and charging. The Clippers beat a pathetic Grizzlies team but needed a late game push, and then got blown out in Denver yet again. What do the guys think of the rotations now that the team is back? What about pod favorite Shai Gilgeous-Alexander's minutes? Fan favorite Landry Shamet getting exposed on defense? The Clippers have huge upcoming games against the Jazz and Kings, what do we expect from those games? 20/02/2019 Duración: 36minThe All Star Game is over, which means the second half (really, the last third) of the NBA season is upon us. The guys briefly touch on the All Star Weekend and how boring it is, then discuss the games that happened before the break. Finally, they look ahead to the upcoming games against the Grizzlies and Nuggets, talk about the Clippers' rotations going forward, and answer some questions on Twitter.Learn more about your ad choices. TLTJTP: The New Look Clips and An Improbable Win in Boston
19/02/2019 Duración: 01h34minGet hyped. Your Los Angeles Clippers threw some trades together, went to one of the more intimidating home courts in the country, and made history AGAIN with a historic 28 point comeback in Boston. Granted, the Celtics did not have Kyrie Irving to stop the bleeding, but we could not think of a better way to introduce sharpshooter Landry Shamet, role player extraordinaire Garrett Temple, possible center of the future Ivica Zubac, and Jamychal Green to the Clippers. The team rode quality performances up and down the roster against a shell-shocked Celtic squad, and the result was one of the more fun wins in recent memory. Lucas is back to talk about the team, the salary cap, how the Clippers are positioned for the future, and what we expect from the squad. Will the Clippers make the playoffs? Do we want them to? How much is signing someone like Zubacgoing to hurt our cap space? A lot of questions, including your Twitter questions, on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!Learn more about your ad ch

Emergency Pod: Clippers Trade Tobias Harris Package for Picks, Landry Shamet
07/02/2019 Duración: 57minWell the Clippers did have another 20+ point comeback, capped off by a game-winner from an inspired Tobias Harris. The doubters about whether he could show up in the clutch and be worth a max contract were silenced, for a few hours. Then, in the dead of night, Tobias, Mike Scott, and Boban Marjanovic for a protected Philly 2020 first rounder, the coveted Miami Heat unprotected 2021 first rounder, and a couple 2021 and 2023 second rounders from Detroit. Promising rookie Landry Shamet and the expiring contracts of Wilson Chandler and Mike Muscala are also in the deal. And just like that, the Tobias Harris max contract question is answered, and a once barren Clippers treasure chest is loaded. What does this mean for stars like Kawhi Leonard, Anthony Davis, and Kevin Durant? What does this mean for the rest of the season? What should expectations be for this season and beyond? How will we remember this memorable trio of former Clippers? So many questions and possibly more moves coming in the near future, as well

Clips Clinging to 8th as Anthony Davis Trade Rumors Swirl
05/02/2019 Duración: 01h13minThe Clippers are still in the playoffs, just barely. The West continues to be wild, and the Clippers needed a miracle comeback in order to salvage a win through this week. Aside from a Raptors schedule loss, the week seemed very manageable but quickly became mostly a lost cause. Included in the week was a bad home loss against the bad Hawks, a tough loss against the stumbling Lakers, a crazy comeback in Detroit, and the aforementioned predictable loss in Toronto. While the team has looked mostly underwhelming, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has had a nice stretch of double-figure games including two of his better games of the season to close the week. The Clippers were namedropped as a destination for Anthony Davis, though it seems to be mostly posturing. What do we think about DeAndre Jordan finding his way back to the Clippers? And what will and should the trade deadline bring for the Clippers? Buy or sell? All that and your twitter questions on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast! Learn more about

Clippers Turn In Solid Week, Maintain Playoff Position
28/01/2019 Duración: 01h12minThe Clippers might have had some slumps through the week, but ended with a nice all-around win against a good Sacramento Kings team. Montrezl Harrell was fantastic in this game. The squad also ended a road trip 3-1 without the services of arguably their best player, Danilo Gallinari. Lou Williams also turned in the second 30 point triple double in Clippers history, first off the bench, in what was otherwise an awful game in Chicago that the Clippers managed to win. Tobias Harris has mostly picked up the slack well in the absence of Gallinari, aside from a bad game in Dallas. Patrick Beverley has also cemented himself as a starter going forward, but who will start with him when Gallo returns? The Clippers are about to go on another road stretch after two home games against the Hawks and the Lakers, but their road trip does have some winnable games too. Clippers End Miserable Week with Surprising Win
21/01/2019 Duración: 01h05minWell, the Clippers are hanging on for dear life in the playoff picture right now. The team came into Sunday on a 5 game losing streak and having lost 2 of their 3 best scorers to injury. The team had already been playing pretty bad basketball, but they played a great game in San Antonio and caught the Spurs napping a bit in an afternoon game. The Clippers have done their share of napping in their home afternoon games, so this game was a welcomed showing from a Clipper team that frankly, has not been fun ot watch for quite some time. Tobias Harris and Patrick Beverley had two of their best games as Clippers, and the team got solid contributions across the board. What do the Clippers need to do to maintain their positioning in the playoffs? What about the tweaks to the rotation today, featuring changes in the starting lineup and a nice performance from pod favorite Jonathan Motley? How long can the Clippers stay afloat without their scoring punch? All these as well as your Twitter questions on the latest episod

Blake's Revenge and a Mediocre Clipper Week
14/01/2019 Duración: 01h15minThe Los Angeles Clippers do not look particularly good right now. They won a nice wire to wire game against an uninspired Hornet team this week, but were otherwise handled with ease by the West leading Nuggets and pretty much lost wire to wire against a bad Pistons team. Blake Griffin came back and played inspired basketball, Reggie Bullock hit timely threes, and Andre Drummond 20/20'd, but that Piston team is not very good. While the Clippers are in the thick of things in the standings, the slow starts are becoming more and more concerning. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is continuing to lose minutes and Avery Bradley continues to exist. A very nice positive from the Pistons loss was Tyrone Wallace, who really shined in a featured role, particularly in the 4th quarter. And of course, with Blake showing off and Tobias Harris being quite unimpressive, the guys will touch a bit on the Blake Griffin trade, a year later. Lots to talk about on the latest episode of the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast! Learn more about your ad

Up and Down Clips End Week 4th in West
07/01/2019 Duración: 01h04minIt's 2019 and if the playoffs started today, the Clippers would have homecourt in Round 1. Not the worst start to the new year, even if the Clippers' play have left a lot to be desired. The starters continue to come off sluggish to start halves with the bench trying to pick up the pieces. It's been hard to be particularly hyped about the team but still, they're chugging along, and even when they fall behind against good teams, they have fought back until the final horn. The team has been recently buoyed by the strong play of Patrick Beverley and (surprise!) Marcin Gortat, while rookie Shai Gilgeous-Alexander slumped a bit before breaking it in a favorable matchup against the Magic. The nature of the West only provides you with very brief stretches of relief, but the Clips have a nice January. Will they be able to take advantage of it? Are The Clips Back? A Strong Week Shows They Might Be.
24/12/2018 Duración: 01h16minThe Clippers got Lou Williams back after a tough loss against the Blazers, and suddenly, the offense is purring like a kitten again. It's definitely not coincidence, though that purring could not prevent a heartbreaking loss to a simply unfair Warriors team, who, galvanized by their crowd, held the Clippers off to the a tune of a 129-127 victory in Oracle on a Stephen Curry game winner. Still, the Clips have looked promising, this game included. What was predicted to be a blowout schedule loss by the guys was one of the best games of the season, and the Clips and Dubs have traded a couple of nailbiters, something the team has not been able to say in their regular season matchups in quite some time. Is Lou all this team needed? Is Avery Bradley's strong finish to tonight's game erase all of our worries about him. (Spoilers: no.) How happy is Montrezl Harrell to see Lou Williams? How long can Tobias Harris and Danilo Gallinari cook like this? All this and your twitter questions on the Lob, the Jam, the Podcast!

Clippers Losing Skid, Kawhi/Durant Rumors
16/12/2018 Duración: 01h06minThe Clippers have been losing a little too much recently, and they've dropped in the West standings as a result. Most recently they climbed back against a very good Thunder team, but never really challenged for a win. The starting lineup seems to have some very serious flaws, and the guard rotation is still a bit confusing. Can the Clippers turn it around? We knew they wouldn't be first, but where can they finish? How badly does this team miss Lou Williams? Plus, the guys talk about the rumors surrounding Kevin Durant and the particularly aggressive pitch to pod favorite, Kawhi Leonard.
