In late 2015, we brought the Berkeley Prep School Mello Divas (from Florida) into the mobile studio to break down everything they are up to - from recording to touring to competing. They have an impressive history and do a lot, so we went through it all. They also sang some of their current music for us.

In late 2015, we brought Honey Whiskey Trio into our studios to have a chat and sing some songs. While together, we talked about their musical influences, about how they balance HWT with their other gigs and lives, and what's ahead for the group. They also sounded great on some live tunes.

In late 2015, we were happy to bring the members of Gale-Ettrick-Trempealeau High School's Vocal Point (from Wisconsin) into the mobile studio. We talk about staying focused but still having fun, about their festival and competition experiences, and more. They also sing some tunes for us.

In late 2015, we caught up with the women of Cheyenne Mountain High School's Crimson and talked about their group's history, about deciding to join the group (and the audition process), and the kinds of music that they're gravitating toward these days. We also heard them sing for us.

When we were able to sit down in the mobile studio with Michigan State University's Ladies First in 2015, we talked with them about the group's origins and where they are today, both musically and in terms of their vibe. 2Knight 2Knight has a lot going on, as they work to increase their visibility in their community. The Cedarville Inversions are a group that has been around only about four years, but has been steadily growing their repertoire, abilities, and sound since formation. Along the way, they've had to deal with the challenges of starting a new group - and seeding a new a cappella environment. Mere hours before the national Harmony Sweepstakes finals, we caught up with finalists Timepiece to talk about their backstory, why they compete, and what kind of music they enjoy singing together. At the national Harmony Sweepstakes finals in 2015, we sat down with finalists Remedy, from the University of Dayton. Many of the members were there at the founding of the group, so we talked about the challenges and triumphs of a new ensemble. Based on their Sweeps success and upcoming interest in the ICCA, we also talked about the role of competition - and heard some of their current tunes.

It was a delight to bring the Women of the World into our mobile studio, just a year after they won the National Harmony Sweepstakes Finals. They talked about finding quiet and space to create, about bringing their own musical traditions together, and about where they intend to take the group moving forward. We had such fun sitting down with the members of Business Casual while at the National Harmony Sweepstakes Finals in 2015. They were there to compete, having won their San Francisco regionals, and we invited them into the mobile studio to talk about how they've evolved as a group over their fairly-short history, from formation to personnel changes to their current iteration. We also talked about recording, music choices, competing, and more. Plus, they sang for us!

Based in New York City, Westside 5 is a vocal jazz group that has been through some major evolution since getting started - but whatever they're doing, it seems to work! They won the Mid-Atlantic Harmony Sweepstakes Regionals and hours before taking the Finals stage, they joined us to talk about it all, and sing some tunes. Recorded in 2015.

We were happy to bring Stiletta into the mobile studio to talk about their formation, their killer beatboxer and the importance of beat and percussion to their sound, and their interest in original music. They also sing some of their award-winning set for us! Recorded in 2015.

We had a great time bringing The Current into the mobile studio - we talked about their first four years together, how the group has grown and evolved in that time, and what their current sound and vibe are these days. The members of Word of Mouth were great fun when they joined us in the mobile studio in Washington, DC. They've been around about three and a half years so far, and we talked about the process of getting a new post-collegiate group off the ground while balancing career and life commitments. The members of the Catch 22 Vocal Band joined us in the mobile studio to talk about how they got started and how they've changed since those early days (not so long ago). The trio of Apollo Link are comprised of working singers and dancers in the professional theater. In their downtime during rehearsals and performances, they got together (from different shows!) to spin some harmonies.
