This Week In Nope

The RNC kicked off this week with a trifecta of debacles: Steve Bannon was arrested by U.S. Postal Service Inspectors on a yacht, Republican Senator Martha McSally asked supporters to starve themselves and donate their food money to her campaign and–as we long suspected–evangelical leader Jerry Falwell Jr. was revealed to have been in a throuple with his wife and a pool boy. And then there was the RNC event itself, which featured a demonically posessed Kimberly Guilfoyle screaming in an empty room, (possibly) cocaine-addled Don Jr. sweating and barking nonsense and a woman named Mary Ann Mendoza whose speech was pulled after she tweeted an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory right before showtime. Also on the docket: Abby Johnson and the “household vote,” Tiffany Trump’s Elvis impersonator ensemble, the gun-toting McCloskeys and so much more.
