The study reveals that 84% of buildings 200 m or taller were built after 2001. The study also finds that 86 of the 100 current tallest buildings in the U.S. have been built since 2001, and if the World Trade Center Twin Towers were still standing, they would be the world's 31st and 32nd tallest buildings. Since 2001, the average height of the 100 tallest buildings in the world has increased 141%, with an average height of 399 m.
